Artist, music geek, and perfectionist. Kerwin Caballero, a former freelance artist, was a typically active, sporty kid who was always getting hurt and sick. To protect him, his mother – whom Kerwin says is the most influential person in his life – would often confine him in his room which started his love for different forms of art. But instead of seriously pursuing art, he freelanced aimlessly in Manila.
“I had a pretty good sense of what my goals were, but the path wasn’t clear.” That changed when insurance business was introduced to him. “As an AIA Philippines Life Planner, you become a well-rounded individual. Being in this industry is a good equalizer. Regardless of which background you come from, as long as you’re willing and hardworking, you can succeed.” Kerwin continues, “It eventually pointed where I needed to go, helped me understand myself and gave me existence a deeper purpose.”
He also learned that he is capable of doing so much more. That’s why he is committed to continuous learning and improvement of himself to ensure that he’s able to deliver the kind of service that his clients truly deserve.
