MANILA, Philippines, October 19, 2026 — AIA Philippines, formerly Philam Life, has launched AIA Advantage Max, a one-time premium investment-linked insurance product that brings together life insurance protection and access to global investment opportunities, including the potential for quarterly dividend payouts. 

Available in both Philippine peso and US dollar denominations, Advantage Max is designed for individuals looking to grow and potentially generate global income from their wealth without compromising on protection. Through the Global Dynamic Income Paying Fund (GDIF), with a historical annualized payout rate of over 6%, and the new Global Adventurous Income Fund (GAIF), targeting a 7% annualized payout rate, customers can access professionally managed global investment opportunities with the potential for quarterly payouts, complemented by life insurance protection for greater financial security.

Access to global investments and potential income

Advantage Max gives customers access to a range of global investment-linked funds. They can choose between AIA Peso Advantage Max and AIA Dollar Advantage Max, depending on whether they wish to make their single-premium payment in Philippine pesos or US dollars.

One investment option is the AIA Global Adventurous Income Fund, which provides exposure to diversified global investments and the potential for quarterly dividend payouts. These distributions may provide an additional source of income but are not guaranteed, and remain subject to fund performance and applicable terms.

The product also offers a start-up bonus of up to 5% of the single premium, spread over the first five policy years. Beginning in policy year 10, a loyalty bonus equivalent to 2% of the average monthly account value over the preceding 60 months is available every five years thereafter, subject to policy terms and conditions.

Combining life protection with investment

Advantage Max provides life insurance coverage until age 100, with the death benefit higher of 125% of the single premium or 105% of the account value including credited start-up bonus. The product also offers guaranteed issuance with no medical exams required.

As an insurance product with investment growth potential, Advantage Max is designed to help customers balance wealth accumulation, income potential, and protection. Through its access to GDIF and GAIF, customers may receive potential quarterly fund distributions that can be used to help support ongoing financial priorities, including health, critical illness, or medical protection needs, while keeping their long-term financial goals on track. As with all market-linked investments, account values, returns, and fund distributions may fluctuate.
