Heart Disease in the Philippines
The leading cause of death since 2015. Survivors often need long-term care, maintenance medications, and lifestyle support, creating financial and emotional strain on families.
Cancer and Cost of Treatment
Affects 1 in 5 Filipinos by age 75. Seven in ten stop treatment due to costs from ₱120K to over ₱1M. Cancer also raises heart disease risk due to shared factors.
The High Cost of ICU Care
30–40% of major CI cases require ICU admission. A 3–5 day private stay can cost ₱50K–₱200K, draining savings. Many plans don’t cover ICU unless tied to a major CI.
Policy Benefits
3x Major Critical Illness Coverage
You can claim 100% of your coverage, up to 3 times (100% each claim) for different major critical illnesses like Cancer, Stroke, and Heart Attack (See brochure for full list of major illnesses covered).
You can also claim a one-time benefit for an early-stage critical illness diagnosis.
Coverage up to Age 100
Stay protected up to age 100 as health risks rise with age.
Death Benefit
In case of death, your beneficiaries will receive 100% of your coverage if you haven’t claimed any major C.I. benefit. Should death occur after a major C.I. benefit, claim, your loved ones can still receive 20% of your coverage.
Waiver of Premium (WPMPCI)
With Waiver of Premium on Multi-Pay Critical Illness, premiums are waived if diagnosed with a major or late-stage CI, keeping coverage intact.
Flexible Multi-Stage Riders
You can also choose to add more protection from emerging conditions (ex. Sever Hypertension), gender-specific critical illnesses (ex. Prostate Cancer or Breast Cancer), or ICU confinement.
Adding these optional riders can protect you from up to 149 illnesses.

Insurance lingo
It refers to the person covered by this insurance policy. A person can be both the Insured and the Payor (person who pays for the policy). The Insured and Policyowner can be different people as well. Example: a parent buying this policy for their child.
This is the fee you pay us to protect you and your loved ones for a specified risk in a specified period.
These are flexible add-on benefits to your plan. They can enhance your coverage or address specific needs or concerns.
This is the basic coverage and the guaranteed amount your insurance promises to give you or your loved ones once you make the claim, or if the conditions stated are met.
This is when your insurance policy’s coverage will end. For AIA Critical Protect Plus, maturity is when you reach the age 100.
